Police say a Highbridge man has been charged with a sexual offence.
They have charged a 50 year-old man from Highbridge with sexual assault after an incident in Bridgwater on 31st December 2015.
He has been charged with sexual assault following the New Year’s Eve incident in Bridgwater Town Centre.
The alleged assault was witnessed by CCTV operators at Sedgemoor District Council, who alerted police.
He is due to appear at Taunton Crown Court on 1st February at 10am.
