Toddle Waddle sees young walkers hike up Brent Knoll for charity

-

Youngsters from Brent Knoll have pulled on their walking boots on to take part in the Big Toddle Waddle 2015 to raise funds for Meningitis Now.

The children and Staff from Tadpoles Pre-School were joined by parents, grandparents and Chris Burman from nearby Brent Knoll Primary School for the walk to the top of Brent Knoll, in a bid to raise money.

Once at the top the children tucked into fruit snacks and a glass of milk, followed by a biscuit before the decent back to Tadpoles.

All the tired walkers were treated to well-earned home-made cakes and drinks upon their return.

Cathy Hurley from Tadpoles told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a fantastic turn-out with nearly 50 parents and children turning up for such an important charitable event. I am so pleased that we managed once again to raise funds for Meningitis Now.”

Cathy thanked everyone who has sponsored a Tadpole and the parents, grandparents and teachers and staff for helping make this event a success.
