Burnham-On-Sea seafront pub to hold its own Christmas carol concert

-

Visitors to a Burnham-On-Sea pub will be able to sing along to Christmas carols while enjoying their pint this week.

Burnham’s Wetherspoons pub The Reeds Arms on The Esplanade is holding the Christmas Carols concert led by Church leaders from Burnham and Highbridge.

Rev Sharon Eldergill from St Andrew’s Church told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Christmas is not just for church, it’s for the whole community.”

“We are delighted to be working with Wetherspoons to provide an opportunity for people to sit down and have a break from the frantic preparations and shopping.”

“People can enjoy and join in some traditional Christmas Carols at their local with their favourite tipple.”

There will also be a performance by the talented youngsters of St Andrew’s School Choir, who have been busy visiting places across the town to spread the Christmas cheer.

There will be mince pies and coffees on offer with the carols this Tuesday 15th December at 4pm. All will be welcome and funds raised will go to CLIC.
