Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre is in the running to scoop the title of the UK’s Most Welcoming Theatre – but needs your vote in order to win!

The UK Theatre Awards highlight outstanding achievement in regional and national theatres and, this year for the first time, 12 regional and national Most Welcoming Theatre Award winners will be announced in the run-up to the UK Theatre Awards ceremony in London on 18th October.

Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre Manager Sam Nicol, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “These awards are searching for the UK theatres that make their audiences feel the most at home. We’ve had so much positive feedback this year and would really welcome your votes.”

The winners of the awards are being decided by a public vote which started earlier this month and is open until 12 noon on Friday (25th September).

You can vote by clicking here and selecting ‘The Princess Theatre Burnham-On-Sea’. Voters must give their email address and can only vote once.

Over 220 professional theatres took part last year with more than 49,000 votes cast. The 2014 winner was the Wales Millennium Centre. The My Theatre Matters! campaign is being run in association with Smooth Radio.
