Burnham-On-Sea Police appeal for witnesses after spate of car attacks

-

Police have appealed for witnesses after a series of attacks on vehicles in the town during the early hours of Saturday (December 12th).

Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com that there were three thefts from vehicles and four incidents of criminal damage.

Thefts of number plates and damage to parked vehicles took place in Briars Close and Olivier Close.

The window of a vehicle in Burnham’s Lynton Road car park was attacked, and other incidents occurred overnight in Cunningham Road and Ashcroft Close.

Police say the incidents could be linked and they have appealed for anyone with information to call them on the non-emergency number 101.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who saw people acting suspiciously or committing these crimes late on Friday night or early on Saturday morning,” a police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
