Voters in Burnham-On-Sea will get a chance to quiz the town’s General Election candidates later this month.

Burnham’s Election Hustings meeting will be held at Burnham Baptist Church in College Street on Tuesday 21st April at 7.30pm.

The candidates from the five main political parties – James Heappey (Conservative), Jon Cousins (Green), Chris Inchley (Labour), Tessa Munt (Lib Dem) and Helen Hims (UKIP) will be attending.

The evening will be chaired by Ruth Chambers, Chair of Governors at Berrow CoE School and Chancellor of the Diocese of Norwich.

In order to ensure that as wide a range of issues as possible can be discussed, voters are being asked to submit questions before the Meeting.

Questions should be emailed to brian.beaven08@talktalk.net or handed into the Baptist Church in an envelope marked ‘Hustings’.

The evening is being organised on behalf of the Churches in Burnham-On-Sea for the community and all members of the public are invited.
