A new florist shop is set to open in Burnham-On-Sea’s town centre this weekend.

Bees Flower Emporium is opening this Saturday (December 12th) inside the existing AOB outdoor clothing and leisure activity store in College Street.

The new business does not replace AOB but instead will operate from within the same premises.

The new business is being run by Linda Pearcy, who has more than 35 years floristry experience.

“I am turning a hobby into a career after several companies started placing orders with me having seen my own wedding flower arrangements (except my bouquet),” she said.

“We will be selling flower displays and arrangements for all occasions and providing fresh flowers, silk arrangements, accessories, gifts, plus the equipment to make your own flower arrangements. Flower demonstation evenings are also being planned.”

Linda trained with Tallulah Rose Flower School in Bath. She was previously Clevedon Pier Mistress for ten years.
