Town Council appeals for Burnham Christmas events information

Burnham-On-Sea Town Council is looking ahead to the Christmas period and are keen to know your plans.

The Town Council intends to publish a guide to the many fairs, concerts, events and functions that take place over the festive period as part of a joined-up promotional activity under the theme of ‘Frostival’.

The guide is being collated by the Town Centre Manager, Bev Milner Simonds, who said: “If you are planning to host a public event in one of the many halls, churches or venues in the town centre or organise a Christmas party that is open to the public we need to know.”

“We want to get this guide out to residents and to the surrounding towns and villages to encourage people to spend time locally this Christmas.”

The Town Council is also planning to book bands, carollers and street entertainers to add colour to the town centre during the festive weekends.

If you have plans, please send an email to both bostowncentremanager@gmail.com and feedback@burnham-on-sea.com with the full details: what is planned, where it will be held, when it will be open/happening (dates/times), entry costs, a brief description and contact details for the organiser.
