Book lovers flock to popular Burnham author’s book signing session

-

Dozens of book lovers attended a special event in Burnham-On-Sea at the weekend when a town author held a book signing session to mark the publication of his fourth crime novel.

Damien Boyd unveiled his long-awaited fourth novel in his DI Nick Dixon crime series, called ‘Swansong’.

To mark the publication of the latest instalment, he signed copies at GW Hurley in Burnham’s High Street.

“A big thank you goes to everyone who came along to the book signing at Hurleys and made it such a special occasion,” he said.

“It was great to see so many of my friends from Facebook and Twitter there and I really do hope you all enjoy Swansong.”

“For me, it’s back to work on book 5, Dead Level. I’m hoping to have it finished and ready for release this side of Christmas.”

“Book 6 – as yet untitled – is ready in outline and I’m going caving in July with the Mendip Caving Club, getting cold, wet and muddy in the name of research. I’ll say no more on that for now!”
