A child was hurt when this vehicle overturned in a narrow lane besides Burnham-On-Sea’s golf course on Sunday afternoon (September 6th).

Police, ambulance and fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to a narrow lane that runs besides the former Berrow Inn site in the village of Berrow.

The Vauxhall, pictured here, had flipped over when the motorist tried to drive along the narrow dead-end lane, which is a popular route for walkers across the golf course.

A fire service spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “One fire appliance from Burnham attended the incident at 12.55pm.”

“Crews found the vehicle on its side. All the persons inside had managed to get clear of the vehicle. Ambulance crews attended to one young child with a small head injury.”

Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
