Brean’s Coastline Players prepare to lift the stage curtain on Ali Baba

-

Tickets are on sale for the annual fun-packed pantomime by Brean’s Coastline Players.

After many successes last year, the award-winning theatrical group is presenting ‘Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves’.

Performances will be held from Monday 16th February until Saturday 21st at Brean Village Hall, with the curtain rising at 7.30pm and a matinee on the Saturday at 2pm.

“We’re into our final two weeks of rehearsals and have been working incredibly hard preparing this year’s show,” said director Clare Hunter.

“We really wanted this year to be just a blast, with lots of fun. There’s plenty of comedy, slapstick, a little romance and a bit of drama too – everything a great panto should have!”

“Musically, we’ve included some great classic songs that people will know and love, some new popular tunes, and some lesser-known gems. There’s singing, dancing, shadow puppetry, lots of interaction with the cast, and in the interval there will be meet and greet sessions with Kamil, the dancing camel!”

“It’s always such fun to be part of this society’s productions. Each year these guys just keep getting better and better and this year is no exception. Their dedication and determination are a credit to them, and I‘m so proud!”

Tickets are on sale now at Brean Village Post Office, priced £5 and £8.
