Burnham fundraisers get set for Weston Colour Run this Sunday

-

Three Burnham-On-Sea women will be among the hundreds of people taking part in the Weston Colour Run on Sunday (April 27th) – and they are seeking your support.

The event, in aid of Weston Hospice Care, will be held on Uphill Beach with 1,500 runners and walkers taking part over 5km or 10km with four paint stations along the routes where participants get showered in multi-coloured paint!

Burnham’s Nicola Stent, Ellie Chilcott and Wendy Slade are looking forward to taking part.

“We will start dressed top-to-toe in white, and will then whizz through colour stations where we’ll be showered in clouds of brightly coloured powder paint!” said Nicola.

“We would greatly appreciate Burnham supporting this fantastic charity and helping us raise as much as possible.”

“And if anyone wishes to throw the paint, you can also register for this opportunity!”
