“The atmosphere at the gala was fantastic, with fellow swimmers, teachers, parents, family and friends all cheering and encouraging each other on to produce some outstanding swimming. The level of swimming we have here in the local area is truly phenomenal.”

The Sedgemoor Primary Schools Champions for the 5th Year in a row saw St Andrew’s win with a record-breaking 191 points score.

Sara added: “Not only are St Andrew’s outstanding in Sedgemoor – they are also mixing it up amongst the best swim schools in the south west of England, as shown by their great performances at the Regional Swimming Championships for Primary Schools 2014 recently held at Millfield.”
