Residents of all ages in Brent Knoll are holding their annual scarecrow festival this weekend.

The popular third annual event will see more than 60 scarecrows with the theme of ‘Music and Songs’ installed alongside roads through the village.

The festival is being held on Saturday September 27th and Sunday 28th from 10am-4pm each day. Trail sheets and maps are available from members of Girlguiding Brent Knoll, Brent Knoll Post Office and Hair by Design.

They will also be available at Brent Knoll Parish Hall on both days, where refreshments will also be on offer.

“We hope lots of visitors will enjoy walking, cycling or driving around the village to find the scarecrows and play the scarecrow bingo trail,” said an organiser.
