A free animal-themed family fun day is being held at Brent Knoll’s Sanders Garden World today (Bank Holiday Monday).
Visitors to the centre will be able to meet Sergea, a meerkat, and get up close with an array of his friends including lizards, snakes, millipedes and chinchillas courtesy of Reptiles On Route.
The centre says there will be lots of activities for families to enjoy throughout the day.
The Avon Owl Roadshow will also be on site with their birds of prey and one of their experts will be on hand to answer questions.
Local National Trust Ranger Haley Dorrington will also be talking to children about 50 things to do before you are 11 3/4, including creating natural art and snail racing!
There will also be free face painting, a free bouncy castle assault course and free magic shows at 11.30am and 2.30pm. Much of the fun day is being held under cover.
