Burnham school pupils raise over £200 for Brent Knoll RSPCA centre

-

Pupils at a Burnham-On-Sea school have raised over £200 for the RSPCA by holding a pyjama day and baking cakes.

The Brent Knoll animal centre’s Manager, Nikki Tutton, and Animal Care Supervisor Katy Freeman visited St Andrew’s Junior School in Burnham where all of the Year 6 children had held a sponsored pyjama wearing day and a cake bake.

Nikki thanked the children for their “fantastic efforts” as the group pictured here – Isobel, Katie, Olivia, Emma, Rachel and Jess – handed over £214.14.

The centre will be holding a ‘Sunday fun day’ on 7th September when the animal centre in Brent Knoll will open its doors to visitors to show how the animals are looked after and rehabilitated.
