MP Tessa Munt was among the guests at Burnham-On-Sea Moose Lodge’s annual ladies night on Saturday (March 22nd).

Members of the group’s Ladies’ Circle took over the function room at Brean Leisure Centre where almost 90 guests gathered for a three course meal and entertainment.

After the formal dinner, speeches were made and toasts proposed, with thanks delivered by compere Terry Cornelius, Governor Bryan Mudge and Ladies President Rita Harris.

The evening ended with a raffle which raised more than £270 for local charities, followed by a mixed disco of old, new and classic numbers.

Lodge Governor Bryan Mudge said: “It was a great evening and Brean Leisure Centre’s staff gave their usual wonderful service.”
