Model railway exhibition underway in Highbridge this weekend

Model train enthusiasts from across the UK are flocking to a show in Highbridge this weekend.

The annual Sedgemoor Rail Show, overseen by Burnham and District Model Railway Club, started on Saturday and continues on Sunday 24th August from 10am to 4pm at Highbridge’s King Alfred School.

“We have many layouts in various gauges, plus trade stands, displays and demonstrations on show,” the club’s spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Entry costs £4 for adults, £3.50 for OAPs and teenagers, £3 for children, free for accompanied children up to 13. There is free parking, disabled access and light refreshments.
