Land train returns to Burnham-On-Sea seafront for holiday season

-

A popular tourist attraction has returned to Burnham-On-Sea seafront this week for the start of the holiday season.

Ivan Holland is running a land train and a mini vintage bus service on The North Esplanade, starting outside the Bay View Cafe, as pictured here.

“A land train has operated here in the past – we’re getting lots of positive feedback for bringing it back,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“We are running the land train this season instead of our beach-based pirate train as in previous years.”

“It’s already proving popular and we’re planning to run the service throughout the busy holiday periods, including the summer.”

The concession has been granted permission by Sedgemoor District Council for the year.
