Burnham-On-Sea shop starts month of fundraising for cancer charity

-

A Burnham-On-Sea shop is holding a month of fundraising fun in aid of a cancer support charity.

Hidden Treasure in Burnham’s Regent Street is selling CLIC Sargent gold ribbons and in return she is giving customers a free Bomb Cosmetics goody bag, a raffle ticket to win a hamper from XocolaT Chocolate or Bomb Cosmetics.

Jane Jenkins, owner of Hidden Treasure, says: “Many of you may not be aware that this month is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and as some of you may know this is something very close to us personally.”

“CLIC Sargent has invited us in Burnham to sell on their behalf the Childhood Cancer Gold Ribbons and we are honoured to do so and said yes straight away.”

“Most of us will know of someone who the ‘Big C’ has affected and the hurt it causes.”

Jane told Burnham-On-Sea.com “CLIC helped my family during the most traumatic time of my life. Your support with the Gold Ribbons will enable this support to be given to other families and children.”

“Please if you are in town pop in and buy a ribbon for £2 and as a thank you from Hidden Treasures and Bomb Cosmetics we will give you a free goodie bag of bath creamers/soap.”

“We will also give you a raffle ticket for a free prize draw to be drawn at the end of September with a lovely gift set from Basket Gifts and a hamper from the amazing Mandy Gair of XocolaT.”
