Burnham holiday park hands £2,800 to good causes in the town

-

Burnham Holiday Village has this week given two good causes in the town a financial boost with a bumper donation of £2,800.

£1,400 has been presented to The Friends of Burnham Hospital and the same amount to BARB Search & Rescue.

The funds have been raised by holiday home owners at the park during the past year with various social events.

“The Friends of Burnham Hospital are delighted once again to have been chosen as one of the recipients of funds collected by the Owners’ Charity at Haven Holiday Village,” said the group’s Tony Deahl.

BARB’s Roger Flower added: “This fantastic amount is a much-appreciated donation that will help BARB maintain its hovercrafts and equipment.”
