Pupils at a local school have been celebrating harvest time this week.

Berrow School’s Key Stage 1 pupils held a harvest celebration while Year 2 made bread and learned all about how bread is made.

The fun also continued for the school’s reception class, who dressed up as farmers and recited a poem about harvest colours.

The reception class were also presented with Bibles from St Mary’s Church in the village. These will be kept in school for use in lessons and then taken away by the pupils when they leave.
