Young footballers in the Burnham-On-Sea area are being sought to join a team in the town.
The under 11s Burnham Athletic team are busily training for the start of the new season at the end of August and they are appealing for more young players to join them.
The team trains on Wednesday nights between 5-6pm and Saturday mornings from around 10am up to the end of June at the town’s BAY Centre in Cassis Close – and newcomers are very welcome.
“We need more children to join the team – it’s a lot of fun and the children quickly make new friends. We will be playing in the 9-a-side league in the autumn,” said a spokesman.
