Watering cans filled with colourful paper flowers have been appearing across the Burnham-On-Sea area this week as part of a unique summer art project.

Burnham artist Sue Hammond-Lovatt has made the displays with the help of residents and staff at the Beaufort House care home in Burnham.

It’s all part of a ‘Small Change Challenge’ being run by arts charity Take Art over the summer months which we recently featured here. Sue’s husband, Clive, arranged the flowers and photographed them around Burnham-On-Sea and Berrow.

“We hope it has brought a few smiles to the faces of people who saw them,” Sue told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
