Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove Gardens will be hosting an array of guest speakers and stalls on Saturday (September 6th) when it holds a special Community Day.

Visitors will be able to pick up gardening tips, security advice, see artwork and hear about how to help groups in the town.

There will also workshops on heritage, conservation and listed buildings by Sedgemoor’s Conservation Officer Kathryn Goodliffe.

Burnham Police will also be offering crime prevention advice, and there will also be information about neighbourhood planning, composting and a display by The Friends of Marine Cove.

At 1pm Berrow author Linda Bond (pictured) will be in the garden reading her story The Marine Cove Princess, which Burnham-On-Sea.com recently featured here.

The event takes place from 10am to 2pm. For more information, contact community gardener Jacqui Strong on 01278 436420.
