A busy weekend of Christmas events is scheduled to take place in the Burnham-On-Sea area this weekend. We’ve highlighted some of the key events below:

Burnham Scouts will be holding their annual Christmas Fair from 1-4pm at the Scout Hut at the BASC Ground on Saturday 13th December. Enjoy refreshments, family games and much more.

A Christmas Tree Festival opens at Burnham’s St Andrew’s Church on Saturday 13th December with a special dedication service at 6pm followed by mulled wine and mince pies. This will be followed by a Christmas Concert by Somewhere House at 7pm.

St John’s Church in Highbridge will be holding a Christmas Concert featuring King Alfred Concert Band and the Churchfield Centre Voice Choir on Saturday 13th December at 7pm. Tickets are £4 on the door.

Brent Knoll’s Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday 13th December from 10am-12.30pm with lots of local produce and gift ideas on sale in the Parish Hall.

An old-time music hall evening will be held on Saturday 13th December at Berrow Village Hall at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Santa will be visiting Apex Park on Saturday 13th December between 1pm and 4pm. The Friends of Apex Park has specially transformed the park’s information office into a colourful grotto. Read more here.

A Charity Christmas Fayre will be held on Sunday 14th December at St Andrew’s Church Hall in aid of MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association) from 1.30pm-4pm with beauty therapies, craft stalls, woodcraft, handmade gifts and confectionery on offer.

Lakeside Holiday Park in Burnham is holding its annual Christmas Craft Market on Sunday 14th December between 11am – 3pm. There will be over 25 stalls of gifts, plus Santa with Frozen characters Olaf & Elsa (extra charge) and mulled cider, mulled wine and mince pies!

Highbridge singer Gypsy Watkins is teaming up with a group of dancers from Burnham-On-Sea for a special festive concert on Sunday (December 14th). The DanceFit Academy Dancers will be performing alongside the talented singer at The Princess. Read more here.

Father Christmas will be visiting a model railway station near Burnham-On-Sea to take families on festive train rides on Sunday. West Huntspill Railway is holding a series of ‘Santa Trains’ with plenty of Christmas cheer from 12-4pm on Sunday December 14th. Read more here.
