A special night of music celebrating Buddy Holly drew a capacity crowd to Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre on Saturday evening (August 2nd).

Marc Robinson, with his horned rimmed glasses, Stratocaster guitar, and authentic costume changes recreated and celebrated the music of the star himself.

‘Rave On – A Tribute to Buddy Holly’, a 55th anniversary celebration, was performed at the theatre in front of a packed audience.

Marc and the Counterfeit Crickets brought classics such as It Doesn’t Matter Anymore, Heartbeat, Peggy Sue and True Love Ways.

Princess Manager Sam Nicol, pictured with Marc on Saturday, said she hopes a second performance will be arranged in the future.
