Big crowds flocked to Berrow Church’s annual summer fete on Saturday (August 23rd).

Bright sunshine attracted large numbers of supporters to the popular event at St Mary’s Church, where a line-up of entertainment was held alongside traditional stalls and games.

A gymnastics display was performed by Burnham’s Monarchs Gymnastics Club and a kung fu display was laid on by Berrow-based Kung Fu group Fei Lung Kwan.

A coconut shy, raffle, stalls and a tomobola were also among the attractions, which Berrow Church’s vicar, Reverend Sally Lacey, said raised a good sum for the village church.

The event again saw great weather with wall-to-wall sunshine through the afternoon, delighting organisers.
