Highbridge’s Apex Park hosts Community Games fun day

-

Apex Park in Highbridge hosted a free Community Games Day on Saturday (October 11th) when visitors were able to take part in a range of fun activities.

Organised by the volunteers from The Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group with help from Sedgemoor District Council, the free event included outdoor draughts, table tennis, mini-golf, croquet and boules.

The Friends were on hand to provide advice on how to play the games and also to discuss their work in the park.

New grant funding was received from Highbridge Community First to allow the new games equipment to be bought for the event. The games took place on the Jubilee Field adjacent to the main entrance car park.
