Readers’ photos of snow in the Burnham-On-Sea area

-

Several inches of snow blanketed Burnham-On-Sea on Friday – and here we publish photos of the snow from Burnham-On-Sea.com readers.

Burnham’s Southleigh Kindergarten remained open on Friday and staff welcomed the children with warm milk, toast and crumpets. The youngsters, pictured above and right, enjoyed exploring the snow in the garden with the staff while the pre-school children looked for places where animals could hibernate in the cold winter months and then made boxes with materials they thought would keep the animals warm.

Other photos sent in by Burnham-On-Sea.com readers show snowmen being built in the town and some of the icy conditions. Thank you for your photos.
