Sir Terry Pratchett meets crew of Burnham's rescue hovercraft
 Leading
author Sir Terry Pratchett met some of the crewmembers of Burnham-On-Sea's
rescue hovercrafts during a visit to the town on Saturday afternoon
(November 26th).
The
author was in Burnham to switch on the town's Christmas lights
and was keen to hear about the work of BARB (Burnham Area Rescue
Boat), whose life-saving hovercraft The Light Of Elizabeth was
on display at the switch-on ceremony.
"He
was interested to hear about the role of our hovercrafts and the
work we do," said a BARB spokesman. "It was an honour
to have him visit our crew."
