Burnham-On-Sea
hovercraft charity appears on BBC's Real Rescues

The
work of Burnham-On-Sea's hovercraft rescue charity BARB was featured
on a BBC1 television series this week.
Real
Rescues featured video clips of beach rescues carried out
by the charity's two hovercrafts and also included an interview
with BARB pilot Dave Bailey.
"I
explained why the hovercrafts play an important role in keeping
the coastline around Burnham-On-Sea safe and also discussed several
typical rescues," Dave told Burnham-On-Sea.com. "It
was great that BARB was invited to take part in the programme."
Real Rescues sees BBC presenters Nick Knowles and Louise
Minchin following the day-to-day work of the emergency services
across the UK.
