Celebrations continue at Highbridge and Burnham St John cadets!

Three 'badgers' from Highbridge and Burnham St John Ambulance are celebrating this weekend after winning a regional first aid competition.

Christopher Marsh, 9, Harry Pike, 9 and Jaymie Whitehouse, 6, competed against teams from Devon, Avon, Gloucestershire, Cornwall and Wiltshire to claim first place at the South West Regional Badger First Aid and Care Competition in Cullumpton, Devon on Saturday (May 10th).

The boys, pictured, made it through to the South West finals back in March by winning the County Competitions and will now compete in the national finals in London on July 5th.

It comes just a fortnight after Highbridge St John cadets Charlotte Aldred and Lucy Westlake won the St John Ambulance South West Regional First Aid Competition and they too are preparing to take part in the National Finals in London this summer.
