Burnham-On-Sea trade
group launches new town shopping guide
 A
new guide to the best of Burnham-On-Sea's new shops was officially
unveiled at the annual general meeting of the town's Chamber Of
Trade on Tuesday evening (April 22nd).
The
group launched the new-look, pocket-sized booklet which provides
an A-Z guide to Burnham's leading independent shops.
Over
70,000 copies are to be printed and distributed in tourist information
centres, shops, motorway services, pubs and holiday parks in time
for the summer holiday season.
The
publication was unveiled at the Chamber's AGM at the Somerset
& Dorset public house in the High Street.
Chairman
Alex Turco also said there are plans to create an electronic version
of the guide, which will be available here on Burnham's website.
