Burnham-On-Sea
scouts appeal for new helpers to come forward
Burnham-On-Sea
Scout Group has this week appealed for local residents to come
forward and get involved with running the group.
The
busy group caters for over 100 local children, giving them activities
and events that help them develop their interests and talents.
David
Burland, Group Scout Leader, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We
are run by a small dedicated team of trained leaders and helpers
with a very small management committee and we'e looking for more
support in these areas. It doesn't take a degree to become a part
of this - or even A-Levels and GCSE's - just a bit of common sense!"
"Leaders,
helpers, supporters, fundraisers, management committee members
- anyone who thinks they have the assets for the job, we would
love to hear from you."
