Clean-up
begins after Burnham-On-Sea swimming pool hit by vandals
A
clean-up operation was underway at Burnham-On-Sea swimming pool
this week after vandals painted graffiti over the glass windows
of the property.
Several
incidents saw racist comments and offensive words spray-painted
over the windows of the outside of the property, and a door was
also damaged and bottles left smashed.
The
pool's staff and lifeguards were busy clearing away the damage
on Monday, as shown in these photographs.
The
closure-threatened pool has not been out of the spotlight this
week after a technical fault closed it on Sunday and Monday -
and talks continue over its long-term future.
