Burnham-On-Sea
dance teacher starts weekly pilates classes
A
Burnham-On-Sea tap dance and jazz teacher who recently became
a qualified fitness pilates instructor is launching a series of
weekly pilates classes in the town during February.
Victoria
Roberts, pictured, is a member of Burnham-based performing arts
group Curtain Call, which is organising the fitness sessions.
The
first weekly class starts on Wednesday February 6th from 7-8pm
at Burnham Community Centre and will
be free of charge.
"Fitness
Pilates is an excellent and gentle way to tone and stregthen your
core muscles and increase flexibility and good posture,"
said Curtain Call's Principal, Patricia Ham.
"It's also great for your wellbeing and leaves you feeling
totally relaxed."
The
first class will be free of charge and subsequent sessions will
cost £4. Those taking part should wear leggings or jogging
bottoms and bring a yoga or pilates mat or towel. For further
