Burnham
shop is named the 'best in the west' for second year running

Burnham-On-Sea shop owners John and Katharine Edwards are celebrating
again after scooping a top award in a national competition for
the second year running.

Needs in the High Street has been voted 'South West Stitching
Retailer Of The Year' at the 2008 Craft Hobby & Stitch International
Awards.
The
couple travelled to the NEC in Birmingham earlier this week to
join an audience of more than 400 people at the awards ceremony.
Katherine
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We're absolutely delighted to have
won for a second year - and we both thank all those customers
who voted for us."
John
added: "Burnham is only a small town, and the South West
region covers a large area with many other retailers so there
was a lot of competition. We are proud to have won and it's great
to see Burnham being recognised as a place to do shopping."
Material
Needs was also a runner-up in the 2006 awards and a nominee in
2005.
