Boxing
legend Frank Bruno supports his son at Burnham rugby event

Boxing
legend Frank Bruno dropped into Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday (May
4th) to cheer on his son at a rugby tournament in the town.
The
former World Heavyweight Champion mingled with the large crowds
at the BASC Ground, as pictured here, during the second day of
Burnham Rugby Club's tenth annual junior rugby festival.
"Each
year the festival produces some of the most exciting mini and
junior rugby you can find," said organiser Alister Strahan
of Burnham RFC.
"This
year has been no exception with unprecedented support from parents
and coaches - it's been a festival to remember."
Over
3,000 young players, parents and friends flocked to the festival
from across the UK. A total of 68 teams participated with youngsters
aged from 9-13.

The
players and parents nervously watched the results board to monitor
their progress during the weekend.

of the rugby games gets underway at Burnham's BASC Ground, with
Brent Knoll in the background.
