Former World Cup football player attends Highbridge soccer day

Former
Scottish World Cup football player Tommy Hutchison was the VIP
referee at a special soccer event held in Highbridge on Thursday
afternoon (August 7th).
The
Football Fun Day was held at Highbridge Football Ground and was
supported by dozens of youngsters from across Burnham and Highbridge.
Tommy
Hutchison, who also attended the same event in August 2007, is
a former Scottish international with 17 caps who also played with
Manchester City and was a member of his country's 1974 World Cup
squad in West Germany.
He
now works with Bristol City as their Football In The Community
Officer, working with children, schools and youth clubs across
the region.
He
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It's been a great day here in Highbridge
- everyone has enjoyed it a lot."
The
popular event, organised by Knightstone Housing Association and
the Highbridge Residents Association, was well supported by families
and children.
