New Burnham-On-Sea Mayor to be chosen

Town councillors will choose Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge's new Mayor next week.

The council's annual meeting on Monday evening (May 12th) will include the election of the Chairman of Council and Town Mayor for the coming year.

Councillor Pauline Pollard is the current mayor of the two towns.

She is pictured right with town clerk Eileen Shaw and Cllr Dennis Davey, Chairman of Sedgemoor District Council, at the recent signing of the Sedgemoor Charter.
