£6,250 carnival cash boost for Burnham-On-Sea
groups
 Groups
from across Burnham-On-Sea received cash windfalls this week from
the town's Carnival group.
The
Burnham and Highbridge Carnival Committee handed over more than
£6,250 of donations to representatives of 14 groups (pictured).
Those
receiving money were the Lions and Round Table, BEES, Wessex Ambulance,
Cancer Research, Heart Foundation, Stroke Club, Community Centre,
Westonzoyland CC and Action Aid.
Other
groups sharing the cash handouts were the Youth Hostel Association,
BAY Club, St John Ambulance and Rotary Club and the Burnham-On-Sea
Flower Club.
