Thousands
watch fireworks display at Burnham-On-Sea
The popular display - which takes place every November during the Carnival weekend - lasted 25 minutes and was watched by record crowds along The Esplanade. The weather stayed fine and dry for the event, which is widely regarded as one of the West Country's leading seaside fireworks displays.
One onlooker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It was a fantastic display - one of the best ever. We loved every minute of it - and the kids were incredibly excited. It's just a shame that the tide was isn't in this year."
Later in the evening, a Carnival / Remembrance Day Band concert was held by the Burnham and Highbridge Band in The Princess. Orchard FM's roadshow was in attendance on the seafront, providing music to the crowds. A charity collection was made by the Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club. RELATED
