Coastguards
called to Burnham beach after 4x4 and trailer get stuck
Coastguards
were called to Burnham-On-Sea beach on Thursday morning (October
4th) after the owner of a 4x4 vehicle and boat trailer reported
them trapped in mud.
A
team of Burnham Coastguards were alerted at 7.20am and were quickly
on the scene, to the south of the town's jetty, as pictured here.
A
Coastguard spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The owner
had been struggling to get his trailer and 4x4 vehicle out of
the mud for some time while launching a fishing boat. Within moments
of our arrival, though, he'd finally managed to pull the two free."
Coastguards
were stood down at 7.40am.
