Up to 5,000 spectators are expected to watch the popular event, which will include several World Rally cars including the Subaru Impreza WRC, alongside classics like the Metro 6R4 and Mk1 Escort. The race will be split into 12 separate stages for each class, and five stages will be held on Saturday afternoon, with a further seven throughout the day on Sunday. Each stage will vary in length from 1.5 miles to 3.8 miles.
The event is open to the public on both days and admission is by car park charge. Cars costs £7 on Saturday and £10 on Sunday. All funds will go to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and West Country Motor Rescue Unit. Prices include a free programme. Gates open to the public on Saturday from 10am and 7.30am on Sunday. Regency Stages Rally at Brean Leisure Park, near Burnham-On-Sea, on
Saturday January 29 and Sunday January 30.
Now
in its ninth year, the Regency Stage Rally - which is sponsored by the
Regency Group in Weston-super-Mare - has always attracted huge support
from local race teams and spectators alike.
