Welsh
communications group visits Burnham hovercraft station
Members of RAYNET, the Gwent-based Radio Amateurs’ Emergency
Network, visited Burnham-On-Sea's hovercraft station on Saturday
afternoon (March 10th).
The
group of 10 volunteers - who are based in Newport, Wales - were
given a tour of the hovercraft station and discussed how they
can provide back-up communications services to the police, Coastguard
and other emergency organisations.
