Charities
in Burnham-On-Sea
benefit
from group's fundraising activities

Five
charities, including Burnham-On-Sea's hovercraft, were handed
donations by a local charitable organisation this week.
The
Burnham Lodge of Moose International handed out £350 of
donations to local groups at its latest meeting in Berrow Village
Hall on Thursday evening.
Hovercraft
crew members Mel Gosling and David Bailey received a cheque for
£75 from the group.
Julia
Gibson received £75 on behalf of the Highbridge and Burnham
branch of St John Badgers.
Joyce
Dunbaven received £75 for Sounds and Voices; Maureen McManus
received £50 for the local Retinitis Pigmentosa group; and
Ken Kinset received £75 for the Jordan Fund.
Moose
International is a fraternal service organisation composed of
one and a half million men and women throughout the UK, USA, Canada
and Bermuda.
The
organisation raises money for a wide range of local and national
charities and takes care of its own members during times of need.
