Meet the Burnham-On-Sea Hovercraft Crew

Burnham-On-Sea's rescue hovercraft group is run by a friendly, dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to life-saving along the Somerset coastline.

The crew meet each week at their seafront-based station to train and ensure their life-saving equipment is maintained to a high standard.

None of the crew or anyone connected with BARB, the charity that runs the hovercrafts, is paid for the work they do - so every penny that is raised for the organisation gets directed into saving lives.

Are you interested in joining the Burnham-On-Sea hovercraft team?

We're always keen to welcome new volunteers onboard. Come down to the Burnham-On-Sea Hovercraft station on Burnham seafront, next to the tourist information centre, any Wednesday at 7.00pm.
