Anglers
reel in funds for Burnham-On-Sea rescue hovercraft
Fishermen
from Clevedon's Sea Angling Club have reeled in hundreds of pounds
for Burnham's rescue hovercraft after a bumper few months of fundraising.
The
generous anglers have held raffles and other social events in
aid of BARB, the charity that runs the Spirit Of Lelaina hovercraft.
And
this week the club's members handed over £328 to BARB crew
members Roger Flower and Steve Perks, pictured above.
Roger
thanked the club for their efforts, saying: "We're very grateful
for this wonderful donation. All the money will go directly towards
maintaining the hovercraft and helping train her crew."
