30 cyclists made a quick visit to Burnham-On-Sea's hovercraft
station during the latest stage of a round Britain cycling
challenge on Saturday (August 28th). The cyclists sped their
way along the town's beach from Berrow to Burnham during

Coastguard and lifeboat stations on Saturday morning (May

tractors roll into town to help fundraising drive

50 vintage tractors chugged their way through the Burnham-On-Sea
area on Sunday (April 18th) during a fundraising tractor
road run that ended on the town's seafront. North Somerset
Vintage Tractor Club's members organised the event from
Sandford to Burnham via Winscombe, Rooksbridge, East Brent
and Berrow, and helped raise almost £700 for hovercraft
rescue charity BARB.

run-up to Christmas - and families are being encouraged
to come along and meet him. Part of Burnham's rescue hovercraft

with a difference on Saturday (October 31st). Sedgemoor
District Council's Assistant Harbour Officer, Ricky Holmes,
and Nick Prout were flown out into Bridgwater Bay to check
the condition of the buoys around Stert Island ahead of
